Look at the detail on this stoneware container. The leaves on this "hops-vine leaf" inspired container were hand traced using real hop leaves. The skillful blending of different glazes, applied with a brush on each leaf, achieved a wonderfully colorful but complementary surface. About 7 inches tall, hand built, ^5/6 oxidation fired.
